The Status of the Lawsuit – FOASC President: Paul Lobana
- All four plaintiffs have given their deposition to 7-Eleven attorneys
- February 7th Class Certification by franchisee attorney filed with Judge
- This week, 7-Eleven will complete the deposition of 6 witnesses
- Mid-March the Judge will make a decision on Class Certification
- 2nd week of December – Jury Trial Scheduled

- Verify the identity and employment authorization documents of employees hired after November 6, 1986
- Complete and retain a Form I-9 for each employee hired after November 6, 1986
- Refrain from discriminating against individuals on the basis of actual or perceived national origin, citizenship or immigration status

Unlawful Male Enhancement Products
Around January 24th 2018, Los Angeles Law Firm “Tauler Smith LLP” sent an unknown amount of certified letters out to 7-Eleven stores across the country. The letters claim that the store is carrying “illegal/illicit” sexual enhancement products and threaten legal action due to “unfair business practices”. The National Coalition’s Attorney, Eric Karp is aware of these letters and was able to get an extension to respond (from 2/7 to 2/28). The number of franchisees who received this letter are unknown and critical to the case. If you have received one of these packages, please send a copy of at least the first page to our office ASAP:
