June 13th Meeting Recap
June 13th 2018 – Embassy Suite, Glendale CA
1. Trade Show Update
2018 income: $193,000 with about $44,000 in pending invoices. We are expected to bring in $20,000 more this year and had about $13,000 less in expenses. Over all vendors and franchisees were happy.
2. Franchisee Agreement Renewal Letter
Per the agreement, Franchisees who’s agreements are expiring are expected to email and mail a certified letter to 7-Eleven letting them know they want to renew. Instructions and a sample letter are attached.
3. 7-Eleven & CBD / Hemp Products
These products are a violation of the franchisee agreement and should not be sold in stores.
4. NCASEF Meeting Update
Paul gave an update on the appeal and shared the National’s attorney’s presentation (attached) regarding details of the independent contractor lawsuit.
5. National Convention – Orlando, FL
July 23-26: Franchisees are encouraged to attend. We raffled 5 x four night hotel stays and registration fees for 5 couples.
6. 2018-2019 Scholarship Program
So far we have no applicants. Information has been mailed, emailed, and can be downloaded on our website. Applications must be received by August 1st. We will announce the winners at our November 14th meeting.
7. 2018 Golf Tournament
Date is set for November 5th. Just before the National Affiliate Meeting here in LA.

Frito Lay, Altria and Hershey presented and shared valuable information and summer promo deals.
Due to conflicting schedules, 7-Eleven was not present, but will attend our August members meeting.
