FDA has announced Advance Notices of Proposed Rule-making
The FDA has announced Advance Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) Topics as a comprehensive regulatory plan to address issues of:
-nicotine levels in cigarettes
–role that flavors / menthol may play in attracting youth to tobacco use
-potential public health impacts from premium cigar use
The public comment period for the FDA to hear opinions on their proposed regulations is running out, deadlines are Monday, July 16th
