FOASC Board of Directors Meeting: Embassy Suites, Glendale

With most of our directors in attendance, it was a very successful meeting. Major FOASC supporter, Monster Energy shared their Call of Duty shocking statistics and promotion details in addition to raffling 3 Fandango Gift Cards and a Monster Ice Chest to 4 random but lucky Board Members. Next, newer vendor sponsor MusclePharm presented a new protein water prototype and shared a Free Fill promo for stores carrying the new Combat Crunch flavors through McLane. We discussed the discontinuance of Coca-Cola products. Our treasurer, Bill shared FOASC’s Profit and Loss statement for the year and compared it to last year. We briefly discussed our upcoming charity golf tournament. We are expecting a great turn out of both franchisees and vendors and look forward to generously donating to our two selected charities. We will hold our Members Meeting and award the 2018-2019 Scholarship winners directly after the golf tournament dinner. The board agreed on a venue for the Friday, December 7th 2018 Holiday Party: Casa Vertigo in Los Angeles. All in all, running an hour late due to productive and involved discussion, the meeting went very well. The board will meet again for the last time in 2018 in Pasadena on Wednesday, October 10th. Our last Members Meeting of the year will be the November 5th evening meeting. There were some tough times this year and we are looking forward to a better 2019. A special thank you to our committee members for their help and hard work!
